Built for a community that gathered to learn.
The original building served Talladega County as a one-room schoolhouse for more than fifty years. When it burned in 1907, the community rebuilt it that same year — same bell tower, same footprint, same ground. The bell still works.
Today the building is a chapel. A hundred chairs, hardwood floors, white walls, and light that comes through tall windows the way it always has. One acre. Nothing added that doesn’t belong.
Silver Run isn’t trying to be a venue. It’s a place where something true happened — and where couples come to mark the truest day of their lives.
Florals & Venue Manager
Heather Headley
Heather is the florist and venue manager at Silver Run. She designs every floral arrangement — the ceremony florals, table decor, and personal flowers — to fit each couple specifically. On wedding day, she coordinates the space and stays through send-off so nothing falls through.
Officiant & Coordinator
Matt Headley
Matt has been officiating weddings in Eastern Alabama for over a decade. He doesn’t use a template. He learns who you are, writes a ceremony that sounds like your story, and delivers it in a way that the people who know you best will recognize.
As the director of The Aisle bridal show, he also coordinates vendors, timelines, and logistics — which means he understands how a wedding day actually runs. Available for officiant, music, videography, and full wedding planning services.
